Getting to know me
I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother, colleague and friend and I bring a wealth of lived experience alongside my professional training.
I understand the pressures of everyday life, the feeling of carrying too much, losing your identity, and struggling to prioritise yourself.
My Why
Through my own therapeutic journey, I began to understand and accept myself more deeply. I learnt that our relationships shape our emotions and behaviour, and I started to recognise and make sense of patterns that once felt confusing or kept me stuck.
Awareness is key and that knowledge is power.
When you begin to understand yourself with compassion, you gain the power to change what isn’t working, to adapt the ways you cope, and to improve your relationship with yourself and the people around you.
I also believe that, as children, we have a “true north” a natural sense of who we are and what we love. However, as we grow, the world can get loud. Our experiences and societal expectations, inform us of who we should become and the choices we make can slowly pull us away from that inner compass.
Over time, many of us begin to feel lost, like we’ve drifted from ourselves. I believe a good therapeutic relationship can help you find your way home to yourself.
